Junior 360°® P: pneumatic head, no contamination risk.
The Junior 360°® P uses a pneumatically-powered cutting head with hydraulic assistance for ease of operation. No hydraulic fluid powers the cutting head, making it the preferred model when potential contamination of the stored material is a concern. Food processing, pharmaceutical, and food-grade applications.
The model built for contamination-sensitive environments.
The Junior 360°® P is the contamination-safe model in the Junior 360°® Series. Its cutting head is powered pneumatically rather than hydraulically, which means no hydraulic fluid is present at the point of contact with stored material. This design feature is essential for food processing facilities, flour mills, sugar refineries, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and any operation where even trace hydraulic fluid in the product would constitute a contamination event.
Hydraulic assistance is still used to operate the boom extension and positioning system, giving operators the same ease of use as the 360H. The machine shares the same sectional boom (9–28 ft), the same positive mounting system, the same interchangeable cutting tooling, and the same lightweight aluminum construction as the 360H. The required air supply is 100 psi at 175 scfm (6.9 bar / 4,955 liters/min) at the machine.
Everything the 360H offers: without hydraulic fluid at the cutting head.
No hydraulic fluid at the cutting head.
The 360P uses compressed air to power the cutting head rotation. Hydraulic fluid is used only in the boom assist system, not at the head. This design eliminates the risk of hydraulic fluid contaminating stored material, a critical requirement in food-grade environments and FDA or USDA-audited facilities.
Hose reel separate from boom for tight setups.
The hose reel assembly is fully independent of the boom on both the 360H and 360P. This makes it possible to position the machine through a standard roof hatch and assemble it in structures with limited overhead clearance or obstructions around the hatch.
All blades, flails, and chain cutters are compatible.
The 360P uses the same interchangeable tooling family as the 360H, blades, flails, and chain cutters engineered for specific materials and difficulty levels. Changing from the 360P to the 360H (or vice versa) requires only a head swap, not a full machine change.
The right choice is determined by what’s in the vessel, not just the vessel type.
The 360P is the preferred model for any application where hydraulic fluid contact with stored material is not acceptable. This includes food processing facilities storing flour, sugar, salt, starch, or other human or animal food ingredients; pharmaceutical manufacturers; and facilities subject to FDA, USDA, or third-party food safety audits. The 360P is also the model of choice when plant maintenance teams prefer to operate their own equipment on a recurring basis, as the absence of hydraulic fluid at the head simplifies their internal maintenance and audit procedures.
- Food processing, flour, sugar, salt, starch, and food-grade ingredient silos
- Pet food and animal feed storage. USDA and FDA compliance
- Pharmaceutical dry ingredient storage vessels
- Any vessel where trace hydraulic contamination is a disqualifying event
- In-plant recurring use by facility maintenance personnel

Junior 360°® P vs. Junior 360°® H: the determining factor is the stored material.
Both models share the same boom, mounting system, interchangeable tooling, and aluminum construction. The distinction is the cutting head drive mechanism.
Material contamination is a disqualifying risk.
Food-grade ingredients, FDA/USDA-audited facilities, pharmaceutical dry goods, animal feed. No hydraulic fluid at the cutting head eliminates the contamination pathway entirely.
Maximum torque and the smallest head diameter are required.
Cement, coal, glass, construction materials, and other high-difficulty materials. The 5-inch hydraulic head enters narrow ratholes and delivers higher torque for hardened material. Preferred for heavy industrial applications.
